Success with St Johns Shopping Centre

The practical – and measurable – value of our work is clearly shown by the way a shopping centre in Liverpool has managed to avoid the retail gloom affecting most High Streets in the country.

The owners made a major commitment to going digital – using rich content, social media and online ads as major tools in promoting the centre, as well as continuing to stage some of the more traditional in-centre events – and we looked after everything from production of regular videos and animations to daily postings on Twitter, Instagram, Google etc.

The results were literally exceptional, with turnover increasing by £3m in one 12-month period and footfall holding up better than anywhere else in the owners’ portfolio.

Management recognised the role the digital campaign played – and so did awards judges, with Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year – Retail in the Northern Digital Awards, and a Purple Apple Merit coming our way.
