Branding and marketing campaigns
South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) is the driving force behind the development of public transport in South Yorkshire. Kenyons have been working with SYPTE for a number of years, initially being commissioned to develop their ‘in-motion’ brand.
More recently we created #LITTLEBIGCHANGES to promote active travel in South Yorkshire, including:
• developing a multi-platform strategy
• creating a suite of content to run across digital, print and various outdoor media.
• designing posters, social content and producing unique animations with tiny human figurines in various transport-related situations to reflect the ‘little’ in #biglittlechanges.
Paired with quick, snappy copy, this content was rolled out across all social platforms, with regular updates to keep the campaign fresh. Social media engagement has increased, and as a result of this, SYPTE have been able to reach a new audience beyond the realms of standard print advertising.
Response to COVID-19
Kenyons created the brand Think Check Travel. This was needed to protect the public transport system in South Yorkshire and to ensure the public were thinking about how and when they used transport, to keep safe and follow government guidelines in respect of Covid-19.
Due to the nature of this project an extremely fast turnaround was required to develop and produce a lot of artwork needed for social, digital and outdoor sites. Kenyons also managed the media planning and buying. A stakeholder toolkit was developed for the client to be able to share with relevant parties and push the messaging out far and wide. Kenyons responded quickly to this brief and successfully delivered assets quickly in a very short timeframe.
