PR and communications

Help Finder is a Liverpool-based charity supporting the city’s most vulnerable, with an emphasis on tackling poverty. The organisation sourced and distributed PPE during the Covid-19 pandemic, holds a weekly Sunday Service providing hot food and drink to the city’s homeless, and is developing an app to help users locate food banks.

Help Finder had established a presence within the region through its vital work with the local community, but wanted to amplify its messages, driving volunteers and donations, and building greater awareness of the city’s homelessness.

To assist Help Finder in raising its profile in the Liverpool City Region, Kenyons offered pro-bono PR and communications support, providing:

  • Media relations activity, issuing timely press releases to secure high-quality coverage and promote the work that the organisation does

  • A video to highlight their Sunday Service initiative and encourage donations and participation

Over a six-month period, our work has delivered a range of results for Help Finder, including:

  • Increased brand awareness across the Liverpool City Region

  • Local and regional press coverage sharing the charity’s work widely

  • Appearances on BBC Radio Merseyside to discuss their ongoing initiatives

  • The charity’s Sunday Service video being featured on the Liverpool Echo social channels (with a following of 500k).
